We would like to announce the revision of separate ticket check-through service for International to International route and will provide Baggage check-through service for passenger who is holding separate ticket of airlines with concluding MITA agreement with Bangkok Airways. The connecting time must not be less than 1 hour 15 minutes and not be over the transit without visas time.
Upon check-in, the passenger must state his/her intention to have check-through baggage to his/her destination.
In case their checked baggage weight is more than the baggage allowance for connecting flights, excess baggage fee will be collected from the passenger, according to an individual airline rate announced in ATPCO. Otherwise, the baggage will only be checked to destination on first ticket only.

We would like to announce that Thailand will permit an extended length of stay for foreign tourists between October and March in a bid to support its economic recovery as pressures from Covid-19 ease.
Foreigners from 18 territories coming to Thailand under the visa-on-arrival category will be allowed to double their length of stay for up to 30 days, Mr Taweesilp Visanuyothin, a spokesman for Thailand's main Covid-19 task force said Friday (Aug 19).
Those from more than 50 places, including Singapore, that currently get 30 days will be able to stay for up to 45 days.
Thailand is hoping rising tourist arrivals will help boost its economic growth this year, even though the pace is still expected to be the lowest in South-east Asia.

Below is Thailand Entry Requirements as of July 30, 2022:
- Thailand Pass registration is no longer required for all travelers since July 1, 2022.
- Travelers entering Thailand will only be required to show Proof of Vaccination or COVID-19 test results for the unvaccinated.
- Travel Insurance is highly recommended to have comprehensive travel insurance when you travel to Thailand.
- Before you travel to Thailand, you should buy travel insurance that will protect you for your entire trip and book your hotel stay to get the best deals and rates.
1. Passport and Thai Visa
Foreigners may travel to Thailand without a visa.
There are 64 countries eligible to enter Thailand visa-free under the Visa Exemption program and Bilateral Agreement allowing travelers to stay up to 30 days, 90 days or 14 days.
There are also 19 countries eligible to enter Thailand without visa under the Visa On Arrival program allowing the travelers to stay up to 15 days. The fee of 2,000 THB has to be paid on arrival at the airport and fill out the TM88 Visa on Arrival form.
For both Visa Exemption and Visa On Arrival, the traveler must possess a passport validity for 6 months or in some cases, it must be valid for at least 30 days after the trip.
Travelers who are not eligible for the Visa Exemption and Visa on Arrival programs must apply for a Thai visa prior to coming to Thailand. Application for Thai visa can be done online or in person at the Thai embassy or consulate in the country of departure of the applicant.
2. Proof of Vaccination or COVID Test
Since July 1, 2022 travelers are no longer required to register for the Thailand Pass. Travelers may now freely travel to Thailand as long as they possess a Proof of Vaccination or a pre-departure COVID test. Travelers who are fully vaccinated may print out a copy of the proof of vaccination, or vaccination certificate or show a digital copy of their proof of vaccination.
Travelers must be fully vaccinated and a vaccine booster is not required. Children who are unvaccinated but traveling with a vaccinated adult do not need to show any COVID test. Travelers who are unvaccinated are required to undergo a mandatory pre-departure COVID test within 72 hours before departure from the country of origin or departure.
The COVID test may be an RT-PCR test or a professional ATK (RAT) antigen test. The COVID test result must be negative or non-reactive and the COVID test result document must state the name of the traveler, date and time of the test and the type of the test performed. Children who are unvaccinated traveling with an unvaccinated adult must also undergo a COVID test.
3. Buy Travel Insurance for Thailand
Foreign travelers should buy Travel Insurance when traveling to Thailand or Asia in general.
You may use your own health insurance purchased from your own country or it is recommended to purchase from an insurance company in Thailand such as AXA Insurance Thailand.
4. Hotel Booking or Proof of Address
Foreigners arriving in Thailand are normally required to provide an address in Thailand. Travelers may provide private accommodation such as a house or apartment. For travelers who opted to stay in hotels must book a hotel in advance.

Due to the increasing travel demand and flight frequency during the first quarter of 2022, Bangkok Airways are launching the “Self-Service Check-in Kiosk” to better accommodate its passengers. Passengers can enjoy the convenience of obtaining their boarding passes or baggage tags issued from a check-in kiosk. The self-service check-in kiosks will be available at Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi), Samui airport and Krabi airport, from 1 May 2022 onwards.
Passengers who travel from Suvarnabhumi Airport can enjoy the self-service check-in kiosks in three simple steps: Check-in and get the boarding pass; Print the baggage tag; Stick the sticker tag on the baggage. Then passengers bring their baggage to the self-drop counter at row D and E on floor 4 of Suvarnabhumi airport, which will be open between 12 hours to 50 minutes prior to departure time.
However, the self-service check-in kiosks cannot be used for international flights, chartered flights, or for passengers requiring special assistance. Additionally, passengers holding special fare tickets such as students, university lecturers government personnel, and members of the Thai Chamber of Commerce are still required to present relevant documents at check-in.

Thailand has been included in Singapore's Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL), allowing entry without quarantine for fully vaccinated passengers.
Fully vaccinated arrivals from Singapore to Thailand, both Thai nationals and foreign travelers, may enter the Kingdom without quarantine by presenting a compliant COVID-19 test result, registering on the Thailand Pass system (at least 7 days prior to departure).

Vaccination requirements for VTL flight
Travellers must meet the following vaccine requirements:
- Be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 with any vaccine in WHO-EUL vaccine.
- At least 14 days prior to arrival in Singapore.
- Vaccine certificate (hard copy or digital/electronic form, contains a QR code for verification) in English issued by Singapore or the VTL country.
A list of all accepted vaccination certificates can be found in https://safetravel.ica.gov.sg/vtl/faq#QRcode
Provide a negative result from a professionally administered Covid-19 PCR or ART test taken within 2 days prior to departure to Singapore.
Children aged 12 and below (as of calendar year) are exempted from these vaccination requirements, but must be accompanied by a fully vaccinated traveller on the VTL flight.
In the case of recovered from COVID-19 and proof of vaccination date of the final dose should be at least 28 days after the passenger first tested positive for COVID-19, as shown in the recovery certificate or discharge memo.
Vaccinated Travel Pass (Air) (VTP)
Long-Term Pass who also holds a Work Permit (“WP/LTPH”) is required to provide a valid VTP (Air) in order to board a VTL flight. The following WP/LTPH is not currently allowed to enter Singapore under the VTL (Air):
- A non-Malaysian male WP/LTPH who is employed in the Construction, Marine Shipyard and Process sector;
- A WP/LTPH who will be residing in a dormitory in Singapore,
All other holders of a Long-Term Pass are not required to provide a valid VTP (Air) in order to board a VTL flight.
Short-term visitors and work permit holders must apply for a Vaccinated Travel Pass (VTP) online between 3 and 60 days prior to their intended flight date for entry into Singapore. Children aged 12 and below (as of calendar year) are exempted.
Singapore citizens and permanent residents are not required to apply for a VTP. If vaccinated overseas, they can attach their overseas vaccination certificates when submitting their SG Arrival Card e-Service at https://eservices.ica.gov.sg/sgarrivalcard for immigration process. Permanent residents must also ensure they hold a valid re-entry permits.
Testing requirements for VTL flights
Travellers entering Singapore will be required to take the following Covid-19 tests:
A professionally administered PCR or ART test (reference, https://safetravel.ica.gov.sg/vtl/faq#PDT) within 2 days of the flight departure. All pre-departure test result memos must state:
- Traveller’s name.
- Either date of birth or passport number as stated in the passport.
- Date and time where the test was taken, as well as the name of the testing institution.
- Negative test result in English.
Handwritten test results are not accepted.
Infants aged two years and below (as of calendar year) are similarly exempted from all Covid-19 tests.
Other requirements for VTL flights
Short-term visitors must purchase travel insurance, with a minimum coverage of S$30,000 for Covid-19-related medical treatment and hospitalisation costs, prior to travel to Singapore.
All visitors must use the TraceTogether app (https://www.tracetogether.gov.sg/) in Singapore to facilitate contact tracing. After leaving Singapore, the "TraceTogether" app data must be kept for 21 days.

We would like to inform that Thailand Pass system will suspend all new applications for the Test and Go and Sandbox Programs (except Phuket Sandbox), starting from 00.00 hrs. on 22 December 2021 until further notice.
1. Applicants who have received their Thailand Pass QR Code can enter Thailand under the entry program they have registered and been approved.
2. Applicants who have registered, but have not received their QR Code must wait for their Thailand Pass to be considered / approved. Once approved, they can enter Thailand under the scheme they have registered and approved.
3. New applicants will not be able to register for Test and Go and Sandbox measures (except Phuket Sandbox). Thailand Pass will only accept new applicants seeking to enter Thailand under Alternative Quarantine (AQ) or Phuket Sandbox only.
4. Passengers who will arrive in Thailand under Test and Go and Sandbox Programs must undergo their 2nd COVID-19 test using the RT-PCR technique (not ATK self-test) at government-designated facilities (no additional cost).

Bangkok Airways recently announce that they will stop operating The Boutique Lounge at Siem Reap International Airport (Cambodia) from 10th December 2019.
We're so sorry for this inconvenience caused due to this closure.
